This systematic review looked at factors that influence whether schools and childcare services continue with health behaviour interventions once the support for these interventions ceases. The interventions studied in this review included policies, practices or programs that address the leading risk factors of chronic disease (poor diet/nutrition, physical inactivity, obesity, tobacco smoking, and harmful alcohol use). The findings will help with future planning, development, and testing of strategies to support positive, long-term health outcomes in children.
