Improving implementation of school-based healthy eating and physical activity policies, practices, and programs: a systematic review.

This is an update on the 2017 Cochrane review of studies on healthy eating and physical activity policies, practices, and programs in schools. The findings show that several of the strategies reviewed could lead to substantial improvements in child and adolescent health. The review will provide guidance for those working within school-based settings to implement World Health Organization obesity-prevention recommendations.
