PhD OPPORTUNITY
The National Centre of Implementation Science (NCOIS) and Hunter New England Population Health Research Group (HNEPHRG) are seeking expressions of interest for a PhD candidate interested in pursuing a PhD program in implementation research within the early childhood education & care and school settings.
This PhD scholarship will extend on the existing Good for Kids. Good for Life program of healthy eating and physical activity research in the family, early childhood and school based settings. These projects are funded through the National Health and Medical Research Centre (NHMRC) and other competitive grants. These projects will investigate how we best increase the scale and effectiveness of nutrition and physical activity programs in schools and early childhood. Specifically these projects relate to a key program called SWAP IT;
Scaling an effective healthy lunch box program (SWAP-IT).
