Background
Dr Cassandra ‘Cat’ Lane (she/her) gratefully lives, works and plays on the traditional territories of the Awabakal people in NSW. Dr Lane is an early career researcher with appointments as a PRSP Research Fellow and Lecturer in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle. She has experience working internationally as part of multi-disciplinary teams to design, evaluate, scale-up and sustain a range of public health behavioural change interventions.
Research Interest
Dr Lane’s research interests include implementation science, healthy public policy, health equity and qualitative inquiry. She has a particular interest and expertise in using qualitative methods to capture the experiences and insight of stakeholders and end-users. Dr Lane has developed a proven track record with strong research outputs in the short time (<6 years) since entering academia.p>
