Background
Dr Heidi Turon is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Newcastle, working within Population Health in the Hunter New England Local Health District. Her current research work is in chronic disease prevention in the community (including childcare and workplace settings), as well as developing approaches to improve the dissemination of evidence in public health. She is also involved in a program of work assessing the effectiveness of strategies to prevent e-cigarette use in adolescents.
