The Evidence Implementation Summit is “one of the leading evidence and implementation sector events on the global calendar.”
Taking place in-person in Melbourne and available online across the world, EIS gathers experts and innovators to share advances, case-studies and latest findings on the synthesis, generation, translation and implementation of evidence in policy and practice.
The key theme for the summit is “Implementing evidence for real world impact: How far have we come and where are we going?”
EIS is an international marketplace of ideas that brings together policymakers, researchers, implementation scientists, program evaluators, practitioners, academics and organisation leaders. The full Summit program is now available on the EIS website.
Alongside many of the top speakers from our region (Australia, New Zealand and Asia), an international expert line-up is on offer:
- Eric Barends, co-author of the book Evidence-based management: How to use evidence to make better organizational decisions – used in 80 universities worldwide
- Dr Vivian Tseng, President and CEO of the New York-based Foundation for Child Development, who will address the topic, “Meeting the moment: Democratising evidence for policy, practice, and the public”
- Former Obama Administration advisor and host of the GovInnovator podcast, Dr Andrew Feldman
- Champion of the new Australian Centre for Evaluation, The Hon Dr Andrew Leigh
With growing inequality here and across the globe, it is critical we put in place policies, programs and practices that have the best chance of making a difference for people facing adversity.
EIS 2023 is being co-hosted by the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI), Monash University and the National University of Singapore’s Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions (BISI).
