NCOIS workshop at ICO 2022: Sustaining Implementation

NCOIS researchers Nicole Nathan, Alix Hall, Adam Shoesmith and Serene Yoong  are running a workshop at the International Congress on Obesity, held from the 18th -22nd October, 2022.

The workshop aims  to build knowledge and practical skills in the science of sustainability.

Titled ‘Sustaining the Implementation of Obesity Prevention Initiatives in Community Settings,’ the workshop will introduce participants to:

(i) the concept of evidence-based intervention sustainability
(ii) determinants to sustaining evidence-based interventions
(iii) current theories, frameworks and applications, and
(iv) practical methods for planning and addressing sustainability.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, 20th October from 2:30PM – 3:30PM AEDT in Meeting Rooms 212 & 213.
